The Music Video I Directed 11 years ago

Hello guys. How are you all doing? i was actually thinking what to share here today , i browsed contest tag and all other trending. Then i was suddenly stucked on the music tag. I became curious to what are the usual post under this tag. And aside from that eversince i was a kid i am already into music , my family loves music and music seems to love us too. More of my mom's side in which you'll be able to see the music influence. But then again i haven't got the chance to actually work it out . It was only until i was in high school , the last time i remember i was very active in music-realted stuffs.

So, why am i saying all these , because earlier as i saw some music and music videos post here , i immediately get into youtube and played this music video you got below , that i wanted to share and wanting for you to watch. It's the music video with the song originally sung by Kelly Clarkson entitled , BREAKAWAY

About the music video. It was my top most favorite production i made when i was in college. It is like our final examination in our subject TV Production . I took up Bachelor of Arts in Mass communication , so that's why we're doing this kind of thing. It was done by myself 11 years ago. when i was a third year college student . The girl in the video is Nicole , she's my talent back then ,a tourism student but in real-life she really can sing very good coz in the video she only did lip- sync. So there it was like a one-man production , since it's an individual project , i was the cameraman ,the director , the wardrobe , lightsman , propsman and everything else. The concept was like what i have understood from the lyrics of the song , breaking away from a heart-ache , well that was what i am into during those times. We had like 4 location during the shoot , and i can still remember that while Nicole , my talent was preparing herself , i was getting ready all things needed. The video camera i used was a gift from my aunt Elaine, like a typical video cam JVC that was i think . And the props and all other things were borrowed from our department laboratory

But it was all worth the sleepless nights , tiring production days. Because i won as the best director , best music video , best cinematography. It was just really a good feeling watching it again because i am feeling proud of myself again and that once in my life i was so very busy with all these production scriptwriting and all. I was hoping i can also have copies of other productions i made before but since those times facebook or social media i must say is not yet that trendy , so just few documentations i kept. I still hope that in the future i can still do these things i really love and my talents will be my kiddos my family...
