7-day wayback music challenge: Day 1 - Alice Cooper - Steven

The awesome Steemian @verhp11 nominated me for this challenge - thanks! Anything music related and I am interested!

As a teenager this song was one of my favorite - my friends and I would have this on our playlist, and would know when it came on straight away from the recognisable piano introduction. The song Steven is taken from the brilliant concept album 'Welcome to My Nightmare', and revolves around the nightmares of a fictional boy named Steven. I love the lyrics:

So I will cover up my eyes, and it will go away

I always imagine having nightmares as a child and trying to run away. I can remember yelling the chorus 'STEVEN!' at the top of my lungs with my friends. It helped that he had a friend whos name was Steven!
