Wayback Music Challenge - The 80's Were Only Yesterday To Me
It seems I missed the start of the music wayback challenge by @dimitrisp. Oh well.
Anyways, here are some of my selections, songs from when I was in University (yes I am that old). To me the 80's are not retro, they were just yesterday.
Echo and The Bunny Men - Killing Moon
Moody and emo before emo's even existed.
Jazz Butcher - The Devil Is My Friend
A little known band that played quirky and catchy tunes. Too bad they never got famous. Played this song because no one else played it. Was I the first hipster?
Psychedelic Furs - Heaven
Another iconic song from this decade. Good to just chill out with friends while drinking beer and playing hacky-sack.
The Smiths - How Soon Is Now?
Is this the signature song of the '80's? If not it should be. A good song for the end of night for when you failed to meet any nice girls at the pub.
