I am simply grateful, for the little things, for the big things, for everything and nothing.
We are grateful for the free air only when we have to pay for it in the hospital.

We are grateful for life only when we attend the funeral of someone dear to us.
We are grateful for love only when we experience true heartbreak.

The truth is we are grateful for everything simply when we have nothing!
We cannot have it all, it can't be all good and all bad, we just have to simply be grateful for what we have and what we don't have.

Can a person who has been healthy all the days of his/her life appreciate good health?
Can a person who has never been robbed (no matter how small) ever appreciate the value of security?

A normal prisoner appreciates freedom while sometimes it is the free men who abuse it.
Be grateful, no matter how little, no matter how big, for nothing and for everything...be simply grateful.
