How to find walleye (zander) on the big river ( for beginners)

in #myhuntingfishing5 years ago

When I was just starting to catch a boat spinning, the most difficult to understand the fish for me was pike. Our boat is in the old days was not equipped with even a simple echo sounders, which further complicated the search for this fish. With pike, perch, ASP all turned out with the first 7-day trip to the Volga. Find these species of fish on a large pond was quite simple on visual grounds. Pike well caught in the grass, and perch and ASP helped to find seagulls.
But with zanders at first did not work. Several multi-day trips during the two seasons, and was caught only a few zanders, and those absolutely happened when fishing for other fish. In one of the following trips it was possible to accidentally get to the point from which three or four walleye almost in a row pecked. It was a real event! But attempts to catch by analogy in other similar places have not been successful. And then we had the first sounder)). Once on the Volga once again, my friend and I immediately went to the place where I pecked perches to consider this point in the sounder. It turned out that all the bites were from the foot of the coastal dump, and a small snag lay nearby. Tried to look for similar places, passing on various sites of the river along dumps. And on some of them, where the edges were quite sharp and uneven, and at the bottom or on a drop from the edge lay snags, we began to come across walleye. Fishing's good...))
Then with each subsequent departure there was more and more understanding about the places of Parking and feeding of zanders at precisely the moment when was found the first pattern edge +Snag ( or other anomaly near the edge).
I think many anglers from those who are just beginning to master the boat fishing with spinning, you may have similar difficulties in finding places for walleye fishing. One hint you now have)). Well, I suggest you watch the video report of my good friend-Valery novosadov. It is about fishing for walleye on the big river. This video, in my opinion, will be useful not only for beginners, but also for advanced fans of spinning fishing, as it Valery tells in detail about the place of fishing, setting the boat and the correct supply of bait when fishing for zanders.
