Jig head for micro jig

in #myhuntingfishing5 years ago

The jig-head turned out to be an ideal tooling for silicone baits when fishing with a micro-jig. After all, the weight of weights used in this fishing begins with a microscopic 0.2-0.3 grams, and it is almost impossible to make such a load for equipping with an articulated assembly (with two ears and a swivel ring).

And since when fishing with a micro-jig, as with conventional fishing with jig baits, hooks and snap-ins often happen, you need to have an adequate supply of jig heads themselves, with different weights and with different hook numbers ...

You can purchase the appropriate jig heads of the necessary weights (0.3-0.5-0.8 - 1.0, etc. grams) at fishing stores. But in factory-made products, there are often some difficulties with matching hook numbers and weight for your specific needs. Therefore, the best way out is to make the necessary number of jig heads yourself. In the fishing stores, you can purchase the required hook sizes and suitable tungsten beads for your conditions.

Building the jig heads themselves will take very little time ...

To do this, you need only waterproof glue, hooks and tungsten pellets, a toothpick (for a careful application of glue on the hook ) and a place for drying the collected jig heads.
The very process of assembling jig heads, I suggest you see in a short video from the team Only Spin.

Although Katerina talks about making jig heads for fishing for trout on silicone baits, these same jig heads are also quite suitable for catching other fish with a micro jig.
