News from Russian and foreign reservoirs for the past week (05.05.2019 - 12.05.2019)

I will start today's review with news from the Lower Volga. Fishing continues there , but only on fishing grounds, which are rented by fishing bases. The fish is not caught very well. Affects the spring rise of water due to discharges from the Volga HPP. Due to the flood of the river and the flooding of the poloi, the water area of the lower Volga expanded several times and the fish dispersed into shallow areas of the flooded floodplain. Some fish species are preparing to spawn, and what is using the situation, actively hunt gathered in large flocks vobla, roach,Rudd.

Well, the second - Sasha managed to catch an outstanding catfish in size and weight! The length of the fish is 2.7 meters, the weight is estimated to be more than 100 kilograms. During the photo shoot catfish watered with water from a bucket, and at the end of the measurement and photographing efforts of 4 people catfish was sent back to the Volga...

In Central Russia continues spawning ban on fishing. Nevertheless, some anglers still find places where fish conservation does not look and catch Chub, pike, perch. By the way, all the guys I know let go of the caught fish and do not damage the fish stocks of our rivers... My old friend from Belarus Roman Kukharenko also made a sortie on one of the small rivers. In Belarus, a ban is imposed on fishing for certain species of fish for 2-3 weeks before they spawn, so that spinners do not have to sit at home for 2 months and curse stupid legislators, as in Russia.
