The qualifying stage of the tournament Proanglers League-2019. Trainings
The new season of the largest and most prestigious commercial fishing tournament for predatory fish from boats in Russia - ProanglersLeague begins. And this tournament begins , as usual, with the qualifying stage. This season, 13 crews apply for 6 vacancies in the main draw of the tournament. Selections take place on the Lower Volga, in the Astrakhan region. Participants adopt fishing base "Zuid-West".

The weather on the Lower Volga at the moment is very comfortable, the temperature on Sunny days reaches +20 degrees. No strong winds. These conditions promote carrying out full trainings and successful search by athletes of good points with stable fish. As usual, the crews focus on the search for ASP and pike. As the statistics of previous years show, these two species of fish brought to the participants of the qualifying tournaments a confident exit to the main grid of the competition. You can, of course , try to play on the pike perch, but then the average weight of the pike perch in the catch should be around 1.5-2 kilograms, which for the Lower Volga at this time of year is almost a bonus weight for this fish.
This season, the Stalingrad Fishers team, our colleagues and colleagues from the global community of anglers Team Relax decided to try their hand at the Pro anglers League. The guys do not want to reveal all their trumps on the eve of the tournament, but nevertheless there are a couple of video reports about how the SF team goes through training weekdays...
The competition days of the qualifying tournament PAL-2019 will be 11-12.04.2019/. As a result of the selections, I will make a separate report. Those interested will be able to watch the live broadcast of the competition on the tournament website.
