Odin in an act of desperation asked the queen of hell Hel to bring his son back to life, but the queen would only agree on one condition: that the whole universe should mourn for Balder. The entire universe wept for his return except an old witch named Thokk, who was actually Loki with another of his disguises.

The place where Thor lives is called Bilskirnir, a palace near Trudheim on the outskirts of Asgard. Thor can not cross the bridge that connects Midgard with Asgard because the Bifröst can not stand the heat of its rays nor the roar caused by its car being pulled by two male goats called Tanngnjos and Tanngrisner, the sole presence of Thor in his carriage means the loud roar of thunder in the sky, and around its passage, if the goats die can resuscitate each morning of the next day, this only if their bones were collected and covered within the skin of the animal.

Thor died at the hands of the terrible serpent beast that surrounds Midgard.

vidar.png

Vidar is the god of revenge, justice, and silence, named for being the one who barely spoke in the assemblies of the gods. He is brave and is the god destined to be reborn after the Ragnarök.

Vidar is the one who kills the great beast Fenrir at the end of the world, to avenge the death of Odin and be reborn in the new world alongside his brother Váli.

He is represented as a very tall man with some very striking shoes, he is credited with this because he is said to be wearing sturdy iron boots given to him by his mother who already knew the prophecy, and he knew that he would need them on the day of the great final battle.

It is said that silence was their connection, Vidar's mother lived in a cave in the desert, a cave that evolved from the union between Odin as spirit and Gior as matter, for this reason, the god is very close to forests and nature. Vidar has a strong connection with nature, the gods had contact with nature through him and that is why his palace is located in the impenetrable forest Landvidi, a place where trees, flowers, and the deepest silence predominate, Vidar loves the loneliness of this place.

Only Vidar could travel through the thickest forests without having a planned path because he personifies in person the immortality of nature and the rebirth of destruction.

Váli was condemned to be turned into a rabid wolf who did not hesitate to attack his brother Narfi by slashing his throat, with Narfi dead the Aesir used their viscera to hold Loki on the three rocks that held him during his torture after the death of Balder.

The story of Váli is written through the prophecy of the seer Völuspá and it is said that it can be a character created by Snorri, since in this way the story makes sense, but it is not really known, and perhaps because of this curious fact Váli It is so well known.
