#myusername | Why I’m @leysa
Thanks @deemarshall for the nomination. My username is my real name, so there’s not much of a story except to tell you about the unusual spelling.
It is pronounced exactly the same as ‘Lisa’ (Lee-sah). My mother always thought ‘Lisa’ was pronounced ‘Ly-zah’ so wanted something unique ... now I’m forever correcting anyone who calls me ‘Lay-sa’ 🤦🏻♀️
Anyway, I wanted to link my Steemit username clearly to my graphic design biz also (Leysa Flores Design) as I like to post a lot of creative stuff here, and clarity is important in branding consistency.
