Fitness - The Way to Go

For some people, options are limited from joining a club in a gym or going for a run. If this doesn't seem appealing to you, There are wide varieties of fitness options to choose from.

But despite everything from a fitness regimen, There is always a Secret to success with any fitness, and it is very simple, You have to enjoy it!

  • If jogging along in the side of the road makes you uncomfortable, chances are: you would stop running, However, if you enjoy your fitness activity, you are more likely to stick at it.

Fitness professionals claims that it takes three months to see remarkable changes in the body and energy levels when on a fitness plan.

What kind of exercise would you be interested and will motivate you more?

Fun and Social exercise

Group exercise classes This are so popular, it is where you enjoy a social side of fitness and a community/group feel for the work out. It is recommendable for beginners or to those without much knowledge on how to safely and effectively train. An instructor is present to show the correct forms, gives option and motivates the students.

Intense exercise

If you are one of those people who feel that they will only get results with some certain amount of suffering
(''No Pain, No Gain'') mentality. There are plenty of intense training programs that will make you work hard and really sweat, or even make you cry. This will be likely to get a sure 100 % result.

Gyms and Fitness club host outdoor boot camps.

Crossfit - another intense work out that will push you beyond your limit and this results to an outstanding outcome.

Holistic Exercise

Yoga and Pilates, This a more of holistic approach to fitness. However, don't be confused that holistic exercise is an easy and gentle exercise. No!

****HOLISTIC**** - it means to incorporate all the parts as a whole in terms of fitness.

Holistic approach in Fitness includes the following

- core strength
- flexibility
- Balance
- concentration
- calm mind

In Yogapractice, The physical aspects of yoga is termed Hatha yoga; So, therefore each class you go is technically a Hatha yoga.

In Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga This is where students follow a set of sequence that they can practice in their own time, own pace with a supervision of instructor in a hands on supervision, challenge and correct pose.

Sports

Outdoor sports like football, tennis, swimming or basketball. This form of sports are also best way to get your exercise. It provides a cardiovascular workout, agility, and some strength training.

Warm - up and Cool down.

All Training should include a form of warm- up and cool down. Warming up prepares the body for the work out ahead. It increases the circulation and aids in joint mobility, it also lessens the the risk of injury.

Cooling down is as important as warming up. It is about aiming to return the body's condition to pre exercise or pre - workout stage. It promotes recovery and helps to repair the body after a heavy exercise.

Excess fat develops when calorie intake is Higher than the calories burned by the body.

There’s a whole raft of factors that lead to weight-gain, not just calorie intake, such as hormonal difficulties, digestive and metabolic dysfunction, psycho-emotional conditions, and (believe it or not) inappropriate fitness practices.

I personally enjoy yoga and walking, and sometimes dancing (videos from youtube). Yoga - because it connects me from my inner self not just physical. I always feel refresh and feel self contentment whenever i practice it. Awesome!

I'm definitely the holistic or social kind of fitness person! I love dancing and hiking with other people and I think the holistic kinds has a really important point in incorporating all aspects

Nice article. Exercise is very important and you don't need a gym, but you must enjoy it to stick to it. I try to go out walking everyday with the kids and sports.

I love how you say the secret is that exercise needs to be enjoyed. That does seem to be true because I noticed only then do you really connect to your body, when you have fun!
