Medicinal plant "common Nettle"!

Greetings Steemians!

While walking around a Himalayan village, I saw something lurking on a plant. I went near to it and saw caterpillars lurking on a Nettle (urtica dioica) plant. My friend warned me that this plant is not good to touch. If one touches it, he would be troubled by violent itching and burning on skin. Likewise the caterpillars on it are very troublesome, if they come in contact of one's skin. Violent itching and burning sensation are very common symptoms of touching of this species of caterpillars.
What a dangerous things we have in this world! But, one should not forget that everything has its value in nature. This plant has medicinal properties and it is also used as a green leafy vegetable in hills. It tastes very nicely.
So, next time when you go in the Himalayas, be aware of this plant and these caterpillars.
