This is my first entry in the Learn to earn game created by @matkoDurko I think its a pretty cool idea, on his post he explains what its about:
"What did I learn yesterday?
It quickly became my favorite thing to write down in the morning. Just couple of words. Usually between 3-6. Just keywords. The realization that I'm waking up smarter than yesterday just totally boosts the energy for the next day.

1. Baby Peacocks

My first entry is a bit of a cheat because it not really something I learnt, but its about someone else learning something that I witnessed!
So this weekend _I saw a baby peacock for the first time as he was learning how to show off his feathers which they normally do as a type of courtship dance!_ It was so cute, he was literally showing it off to everyone and anyone who was willing to look, including his mother and sisters and brothers.
I didn't take this photo but I found it on google images, so thanks to whoever took it!

2. The colors of Koi fish

The Koi fish is actually a colorful variety of the common carp fish. They are bred specifically to have color variations and are kept for decorative purposes in outdoor koi ponds.
The interesting thing is, these bright colors puts them at a great disadvantage against predators as they cant exactly hide or camouflage. Koi that are released into the wild will quickly revert to the natural coloration of common carp within a few generations.

3. Modern day pirates are taking over Nigeria

Somalia is what normally comes to mind when one thinks of pirates, but in 2018 there has been a massive rise in piracy around Nigeria, now placing the Gulf of Guinea in the number one spot of the most dangerous dangerous waters for pirate attacks.

"The Q1’18 report from the International Maritime Bureau (IMB) shows an increase in global piracy, with 107 incidents recorded in the first six months of 2018 compared to 87 in the same period in 2017.
Most alarming is the increase in the number of incidents recorded in the Gulf of Guinea region, which has gone from 16 in the first half of 2017 to 46 in 2018, with 31 incidents recorded in Nigeria’s territorial waters alone."

ohhhh that "puppy" peacock is the cutest thing ever :D trying out what he can do haha :D

Iteresting point with the Koi fishes, I've thought they're completely separate type of a fish...and nigeria..well..dunno what to say..sucks? I've always thought Somalia is the "worst" in this..

Yes I also thought they were their own kind of fish. Super interesting how they lose their colors if you release them in the wild. The world is a wonderfully curious place. Thanx for creating the challenge, I love it already!
