waduk kota lhokseumawe ini sudah di bangun sejak lama. kalau saya tidak salah pada tahun 2007. dan tujuan di bangun waduk ini untuk di jadikan sebagai penampungan air agar tidak terjadi banjir. karena di kota lhokseumawe sangat sering mengalami kebanjiran, maka dari itu, pemerintah memutuskan untuk membangun waduk ini.
