A Farm-Pool Worth Making A Splash About
Being a farmer does not mean that we can not be creative, here is an absolutely lovely project that was manned by some friends who live close by, who had always wanted a pool to relax in on our warm summer days!
This lovely pool is actually a refurbished old cement farm dam, you can see here that the pool was split up into three separate sections, the one is a more shallow splash-pool for the kids then there is a lounge pool for the adults to sit in while enjoying a sun-downer, and then a slightly bigger pool for kids and grownup's alike to enjoy.
One of the things that I simply fell in love with when I saw this for the first time was the beautiful array of natural rocks that was submerged under the seemingly shallow water that connects the three pools together, however their appeal, I soon found out was far more than simply aesthetic.
These lovely little rocks actually form part of the pools natural filtration system, the filtration system is then further aided with salt which I thought was absolutely brilliant and a wonderful alternative to the more commonly used chlorine filtration systems.
And then of course there is the fact that this brilliant pool overlooks the African bush-veld - and that is not always the worst thing to look out at when you are trying to relax and get your mind clear.
Although as you can see the pool was running already at the time that I was there, but there was still some work to be done before the pool could be fully appreciated.
That's really incredible, both in design and how it functions, very inspiring.

Oh yes indeed, such places to breed magical moments!! As for jealous... well the space that you spend time in is not what makes the family great, a great family (especially with someone like you wanting to make life special for the family) can make any place they encounter magnificent!

I actually think that the pool itself is smaller than an average pool, but the structure as a whole is quite big.
