Trace of bird legs in the mudflat of the Wadden sea

The Waddensea is a World Heritage site. One of the characteristics are the extensive tidal mud flats. These mud flats are an important habitat for a lot of birds. And mud flats are really muddy as can be seen by the traces of a bird in this photograph.
