The Good

The Bad

Shasta Cola cans in the forest litter

and the Ugly

Gah this crap was tossed in the fire pit on top of hot coals and partially melted together and yes that cooler was left behind as well

We had a fun day exploring forest service road 027 and bushwacking down game trails in the Uinta National Forest, but it was almost overshadowed by the trash we found everywhere. Seriously, every camping spot we found and explored was filled with trash. It is truly sad that people can both recognize the value of spending time in beautiful nature and not think twice about tossing single serve apple sauce containers and glass bottles aside after consuming. WTF people.

I crammed the contents of the fire pit into the cooler for transport off the mountain into the city garbage service/landfill system. I only got a little chewing tobacco and spit on me from the plastic soda bottle filled by that most pleasant of vices (said tobaccojuicefilled bottle not visible in this photo).

I may never have been prouder of my loins (and let me tell you, that is saying a lot- I am very proud of my loins LOL) than when @thingone said to me, unprompted:

We have to pick up all this trash. What if the forest creatures get hurt?

The Good

Ah but there is so much magic in the world :)

Let me tell you, there is a world beyond bid bots. There is a world beyond positive matter and even beyond dark matter. A world of love <3

in a movie announcer voice

in a world, where you told your progeny you would find a feather to replace the one you lost after telling them you would hold on to it for them on the mountain yesterday...

In such a world there are infinite happiness's :) Allow me to share a few.

@yeti-the-dog is a dingus :)

@ecoTrain

Thank you guys for collecting all that trash! It's so depressing to see how people treat nature.

A beautiful nature pic, cute kids, a good dog - you should absolutely bidbot this shit to the moon.

facepalm i feel you. humans can be such slovenly a-hoes. hopefully the lovely views made up for the reality check of debri.
