Cactus and some facts
Cactus is a type of plant which can store a large amount of water. Dry areas and deserts are the suitable places to grow cactus. These are widely grown in south and northern part of America. However, these can be found all over the world now due to wide range of cultivation.
Some interesting information about cactus are given below for your information.
—There are almost 2000 species of cactus all over the world.
—There are different size of cactus are available. Largest size cactus can be 70 feet long and 5000 pounds weight.
—Cactus is source of water and it’s quite safe for drinking.
—Size and shape of flowers depends on its species.
—Cactus can live from 20-300 years depending on species.
—Spines of cactus can be used in the production of combs hooks and needles. It is also used as foods.
