Beautiful Victorian Italian Garden Almost Abandoned by the Public

This is the Italian Garden at the South side of Scarborough North Yorkshire. Set on the hillside above the open air theatre and surrounded by beautiful woodland full of all kinds of birds and small animals.
The garden is maintained by the council but almost abandoned by the public. I visit this garden often and i hardly ever see anyone else there. The garden is so peaceful with just birds singing and squirrels collecting nuts.

Raised at each end are these amazing structures. Sadly not maintained well but impressive none the less.

At the centre of the garden is a cool formal lily pond overlooked by the Roman God Mercury the winged messenger.

At the far end of the garden is a more simpler structure in a similar condition to the larger one at the other end but still impressive.
