Did you KNOW?? FACTS ABOUT BLACK RHINOS (Diceros bicornis michaeli) - as told by Wakanda youngest son

in #nature6 years ago

That there are just a little over 5000 Black Rhinos (Diceros biconis michaeli) species left in the world? Yes you bet it! They are on the IUCN red list of critically endangered species.
Did you also know that Black rhinos are endemic to Africa and in the 1970s their numbers were more than 65,000-70,000 Black Rhinos and poaching decimated them to just a little over 2000 individual animals??

DEBUNKING THE MYTH!!
In asia (especially China) there is a myth/ believe that the Rhino horn has an aphrodisiac effects. No that is a lie.

The rhino horn is made up of Keratin fibre, same material that makes up human hair or finger nails.

Question is, why won't eating human hair or your nail give you the sexual elevation??

We will continue next time my friends.

So, if you love wildlife and would like to learn more first hand from a Wakanda conservationist then you need to follow me.

Thank you all for reading.
