Herons huddled together in a group for the flight to warmer climes.

For the first time in my life I saw about a dozen herons in one place. Apparently birds true to the group for the flight to warmer climes. And what is surprising, having noticed from the road one Heron we tried to come closer and only coming out of the mountain saw a few birds in one place. The Heron who was one a good distance from the group, seeing us, took to the sky and her entire group. Apparently it was a watch. Smart bird.
