SILVER + WILDLIFE SERIES + BLOCKCHAIN = PRESERVATION OF WILDLIFE?

I love the design of the Rwanda wildlife series:

They are often sold out, and they appreciate very fast.
Something very lively, but simplified and artistic about them.

Too bad these beautiful coins (from the Banki Nkuru Y'u Rwanda) have nothing to do with protecting the animals they portrait.

Africa has huge challenges with both a “mooning” population, comparatively low “educational” level among its citizens. One result is a rampant rise in bush meat.
For example, the giraffe population has decreased by 40% the last 30 years: Giraffe: In the process of a ‘silent extinction’

Although I am not so updated on the latest research on preservation efforts (I read @valth post though) and ecotourism, it does not look so good for African wildlife. I just pray that the African leaders look long term here.

Who wants a cheetah-backed silver-token?
The point is to incentivize and monetize wildlife preservation.

Hopefully, these beautiful creatures will not just be remnants of a lost past.

I happen to have three complete series (see YouTube channel goudhaantje) of the Ruanda wildlife and so happy. And yes bushmeat is popularr and killing species. We did the same in the past in Europe. Now the wolf is back here in Holland and no one knows what to to do other than shoot them.

Nice videos! I am a very selective stacker, but I like this series. Hope someone makes a series that protect wildlife. I agree that wolves are problematic because they wander around alot and attack wildstock. I also have Year of the dog gold btw. My favourite.

Beautiful coins...I may need to look into adding a few to the stack

These Rwanda Wildlife coins are minted on Europe and the money obtained does not go to the preservation of wildlife. It is a pity, for the series is beautiful.

Thanks for the reminder! I do know that, and it bothers me. Rewrote a little to clarify. We need some decentralized blockchain based wild life series (in the not so distant future).

These are Beautiful Coins and a Great Way to teach people about Silver.............@janusface
