The dark time of the year approaching. On nights without clouds, The northern light can be be seen in the sky. Yesterday evening we had a short visit of Aurora. In a short period of time she was very bright and intense. Normally I opperate my camera with auto settings. Picturing Aurora is difficult you operate manually. So I practice, still struggling with how to get the right focus. I will be happy for any advises for nice aurora shooting.

These pictures are absolutely beautiful! I'm so jealous I couldn't see the northern light myself. Both mom and dad were texting and calling me that they were visible, but I live in the city so there is too much light pollution to see the auroras :(

The biggest problem is the clouds in the north the main part of the days cloudy. You can see aurora Moore or less every night with clear sky. Aurora comes and go yesterday night a short period during 4 hours. :)
