Another interesting and sweet comic from the Thai Diver book is one about the goby and the shrimp. Hurray for the draughtsman, he has it super portrayed.
The sea and the reef are full of interesting creatures and fascinating adaptations, as well as grandiose survival techniques applied by the inhabitants of the sea. A good technique to avoid these becoming food for predatory fish.
An interesting and curious partnership between two sea creatures is the strange relationship between the gobies and the shrimps.
Pistol shrimp or snapper shrimp are very good at digging. This is why they constantly create and maintain caves in the seabed with their large claws. The shrimp's shortcoming is their enormously poor sight, they are almost blind, which is why they only recognise the predators when it is too late for them...
Ctenogobiops, Istigobius and Stonogobiops, the gobies are by comparison small, very attentive and watchful fish that have a symbiotic relationship with the shrimps and help them as guardians, in return they are allowed into the cave and have protection from predators.
How do these two find each other?
Shrimp Goby researchers have been trying to unravel this mystery for a long time and have conducted several experiments, but it is still one of nature's secrets.

O mar e o recife estão cheios de criaturas interessantes e adaptações fascinantes, assim como técnicas grandiosas de sobrevivência aplicadas pelos habitantes do mar. Uma boa técnica para evitar que se tornem alimento para os peixes predadores.
Uma parceria interessante e curiosa entre duas criaturas marinhas é a estranha relação entre os gobis e os camarões.
O camarão pistola ou o camarão snapper são muito bons a escavar. É por isso que eles constantemente criam e mantêm cavernas no fundo do mar com suas grandes garras. O defeito do camarão é a sua visão enormemente pobre, são quase cegos, e é por isso que só reconhecem os predadores quando é tarde demais para eles....
Ctenogobiops, Istigobius e Stonogobiops, os gobies são, em comparação, peixes pequenos, muito atentos e vigilantes que têm uma relação simbiótica com os camarões e os ajudam como guardiões, em troca são permitidos entrar na caverna e têm protecção contra predadores.
Como é que estes dois se encontram?
Pesquisadores do Shrimp Goby têm tentado desvendar este mistério por um longo tempo e têm conduzido vários experimentos, mas ainda é um dos segredos da natureza.

Ein weiteres interessantes und süßes Comic aus dem Thailändischen Taucher Buch ist eines über den Goby und der Garnele. Ein Hoch auf den Zeichner, er hat es super dargestellt.
Das Meer und das Riff sind voller interessanter Geschöpfe und faszinierenden Anpassungen, sowie grandiose Überlebenstechniken, die von den Bewohnern des Meeres angewandt werden. Eine gute Technik um zu vermeiden, dass diese Nahrung für Raubfische werden.
Eine interessante und kuriose Partnerschafte zwischen zwei Meeresbewohnern ist die merkwürdige Beziehung zwischen den Gobys und den Garnelen.
Die Pistolengarnele oder Schnappgarnele sind sehr gut im baggern bzw. graben. Deshalb erschaffen und pflegen diese ständig Höhlen im Meeresbodens mit ihren großen Krallen. Das Manko der Garnelen ist ihre enorm schlechte Sehkraft, man sagt sie seien fast blind, weshalb sie die Raubtiere erst erkennen, wenn es zu spät ist...
Ctenogobiops, Istigobius und Stonogobiops, die Gobys sind im Vergleich kleine, sehr aufmerksame und wachsame Fische, die eine symbiotische Beziehung zu den Garnelen haben und ihnen als Wächter helfen, im Gegenzug dürfen sie mit in die Höhle und haben einen Schutz vor Räuber.
Wie finden sich eigentlich diese beiden?
Shrimp-Goby-Forscher versuchen schon seit langem, dieses Geheimnis zu lüften und führten etliche Experimente durch, doch es ist immer noch eines der Geheimnisse der Natur.
