Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy. The area of the entire water surface is 370 square kilometers and the maximum depth reaches a mark of 346 meters. To go round the whole lake along the coast it will take a whole day - the length of the entire coastline is 150 kilometers. From Garda, the Mincho River flows out, and the river named Aril flows into it. The lake meets all tourists with lush vegetation and mild climate, which is caused by the fact that the lake is covered by a mountain range that protects from cold winds. Rest on the Garda - the most amazing way to spend a vacation - there are old fortresses and modern entertainment complexes. The lake, which gathered a huge number of impressive historical monuments on its shores, attracts more and more tourists every year.
