    The Hyrax is a small mammal belonging to a clade of mammals called afrotherians that include golden moles, elephant shrews, tenrecs, aardvarks, and even elephants and sea cows! It is the only living land dwelling afrotherian in the middle east! Looking at it, you would not imagine that it is related to elephants at all! They also apparently bleach rocks with their pee haha.
