Greater Yellowlegs!
Watch this video I got of a Greater Yellowleg! There is also a Lesser Yellowlegs. The main difference is that the greater is bigger and it's bill is longer. It is sometimes hard to tell them apart unless they are together. You can find these birds just about anywhere in North America. They eat mainly small fish, seeds, frogs and berries when they can get them. You can see these birds at The Celery Fields in Sarasota, Florida mainly during the spring migration.
You can see in this picture that I took, the bill is long.
And this one is shorter - the Lesser Yellowlegs.

I think that is my nickname here amongst the Filipinos... Yellow legs. I don't often wear shorts because of how pale I am, and I'm pale because I don't wear shorts.

Haha that is a funny nickname! I never wear shorts here in FLorida because all the bugs like me. I do get some sun though when I go to the beach and wear my bathing suit. Yes, doing wildlife photos and videos is fun and it gets you out into nature.
That is a long bill! Those yellow legs look like a strange pair of pants an old golfer here in Florida would wear. Works for the birds, not so much for the old duffers - lol

The photographs are excellent. Both the male and female Lesser Yellowlegs provide parental care to the young.
The young are precocial, and are able to walk after hatching.
