I found this piece of art this winter on an ice cold day under our roof. The spider was not at home so I do not know what species it is. About 700 species live in our regions.

This week I found this at the same place under our roof : a group of eggs in a nest surrounded by a cocoon, small spiders in the making.

Maybe it will be spiders like this who I met in my house last year in autumn.
