Eye contact: baby deer mid-pooping

I was sitting in my backyard, the mist of rain and everything else around me feeling damp, still and quiet.
Lost in my cigarette I looked up confused to see a mother deer leading her two kids through the treacherous terrain called my yard. Who am i kidding, even this deer knew i was off my game-zero threat detected..
As I sat there snapping pictures of each Deer slowly and awkwardly walking past my line of sight, the last one stopped and looked at me feet from disappearing into the other yards. That Deer took a long slow poop, and locked eyes with me the entire time. Idk if that was just me, but i feel they were making a statement regarding the shape i’ve been in this last few days.
