Check out what our oldest daughter caught! Her methods of capture may be different than mine, but she still got it. Actually, this one was on the road, so she just picked up it, unlike me who'll jump neck-deep in the swamp, as shown in this video below.
Anyway, although they are a popular pet turtle that has become an invasive species worldwide, I've always enjoyed them and we are pleased to live in a location where they naturally occur. Here are a couple photos from earlier. Enjoy!

Such colors on that turtle! God could have made everything with just a couple of colors. I always like to think that if we are living in a fallen, sinful, broken world with such beauty around I can only imagine what a perfect world is going to look like!
1 question...I know you don't do it now but did you at any point in the past ever eat a turtle?
In the past I've had a little turtle, not much, but Snappers sure do stink up a storm when you cook them!
