Animals found at La Vanille Nature Park!!!
Some weeks back, I went to visit a very famous nature park in Mauritius...It was after a very long time that I went there!
That place is called La Vanille Nature Park and is found in the south of Mauritius!
La Vanille Nature Park is famous for the different animals found there...
So today I will share some of the animals you will find while visiting the park...
I will start with the most famous animal on the park...
CROCODILES!!!
Actually we don't have crocs in the wild in Mauritius, the ones found in the park have been imported from different countries and kept in captivity!
I know keeping animals in captivity in not a good practice, but at La Vanille Nature Park they are doing a great job...from the little crocs they started with...now they got thousands of these thanks to the nursery system they have in place!
The next one that you will find a lot in the park is the lazy Tortoise!
Again the nursery is making an amazing job...
You'll find baby tortoises as well as adult ones!
Colored fish...in ponds...
And also in giant aquariums!
Sad to see monkeys in cages...but for those who have never seen one...this is something spectacular indeed!
Donkeys and Poneys...well I've never seen any of them around on the island...but at La Vanille Nature Park you get the opportunity to discover them!
As I mentioned above, there's some more animals present there, I'll share the pics some other time!

There's a restaurant also found in that park where you get to taste some of these wild animals like crocs!

Wonderful animals can be found on this site, the photo that I liked the most was that of the monkey is as if I was thinking hahahaha beautiful.
