Day 120

It looks like all of the eggs in the main tank that were going to hatch have already done so, leaving us with three survivors at the moment clinging to the side off the tank, particularly impressive given how strong the current is in the tank thanks to the 100 gallon capacity filter (which can handle a 50 gallon African Clawed Frog tank according to the 1 Frog = 10 gallons of tank and 20 gallons of filter capacity rule).

I also transferred a froglet from the tadpole tank to the 20 gallon frog tank today. This brings the total number of froglets back up to 10 and the numbers of juveniles to 15. There's another 2 to 3 others who I may transfer out of the froglet section of the tank and into the juvenile section tomorrow.

Over the last few days, I've noticed one of the smaller froglet had a bump on its left side. This is usually a sign that the frog has become impacted. The issue is that there's nothing in the tank that could have become stuck in the frog, it's a bare bottom tank, none of the decor is losing any bits, and the Zoo Med froglet food pellets are incredibly tiny. I'm just not sure what it could be. The froglet continues to eat but I'll have to keep a close eye on them and hope it doesn't grow any larger. There's not really much I can do if it does, at least.

Current Totals:

21 - 10 gallon (Tadpole Tank)
25 - 20 gallon (Frog Tank) [10 froglet, 15 juvenile]
