I checked on the main tank today to make sure it was clean and saw that all of the clinging stage tadpoles were gone but that there were now a new clutch of eggs that had been laid overnight, thereby rendering most of my cleaning from the night before moot. Clearly, raising the room temperature yesterday didn't work. Depending upon what happens, I may end up having to separate the two adults. If by the time of the next cleaning, eggs are still being produced, I'll have to reinstall the main aquarium's tank divider. Constant egg production will fairly rapidly foul the water, even with a tank, if left unchecked but it can end up causing rapid organ damage in rare cases, I remember an instance in which a women's frog continuously laid eggs for several months before it ended up suffering from soft bloat.

Soft bloat is an inability of the body to remove fluids from the body due to organ damage, the condition is progressive and the frog will continue to expand a small amount each shed until they look like the Michelin Man. Some expand significantly more rapidly than others and in some cases the bloating can subside slightly. My female, Tiny, has the condition already, due to a previous tank crash, that has waxed and waned in severity over time, making her more sensitive to both environmental and physical stresses. If there are still eggs being produced by Friday, then I'll consider dividing the tank more seriously.

I also moved 2 froglets over to the juvenile section, 3 of the 6 near froglets in the tadpole tank should be movable by tomorrow pending water testing of the 20 gallon tank.Having to divide the main tank may end up being an inconvenience if I do need to move some of the froglets and juveniles prior to sending them out. I'll start searching for nearby pet shops tomorrow.
