Purple Wildflowers (PNW)

Part of the Mary's River Watershed, these wildflowers were photographed in the Bald Hill recreational area, in Corvallis, Oregon. Here, the climate is mild and can be considered a cold tropical area. Heavy Spring precipitation has softened the ground to make way for these new shoots. What family do you think these species are from?
