The last week has been very busy and stressful, so to recharge and clear my mind I took of to Dundas valley yesterday for a solo hike.

The beginning of the trail and for about the first 45 minutes of hiking it truly feels like you're in a sea of green! Walking and listening to the cicada's, my stress quickly started to vanish. Then I made my way down to the creek (Spencer creek) which was equally as beautiful.

After hiking along the creek for some time, it comes to a Y. Splitting off in two directions. To the right is Tews fall and the left Websters falls. I decided to go to Tews falls first, along the way to it are several smaller waterfalls that are uite beautiful themselves.

After absorbing the smaller falls, the rock faces and all the small animals running around, I made it to Tews.

Width: 29.52 feet / 9 metres

After sitting at the base of Tews for a while, climbing behind the falls and just soaking it all in. I started to head back to the split in the creek. It was time hit Webster falls. I didn't have my camera out for much of my way there because I decided to take the difficult way. Instead of following the water, I decided to climb the boulders and rock face of the escarpment along the way. After about an hour and a half, I was at Websters!

Being mid August the water flow is pretty low, but it still a beautiful sight! And the low water flow made it much easier to go bihind the waterfall.

Being surrounded by such beauty I had totally lost track of time lol. The sun was starting to set and with no idea how I had been in the valley almost 8 hours, it was time to get out. I brought no lights with me and hiking through in the dark would be a challenge that I wasn't up for.
