We love our dogs, they're more than just pets, they're a member of our families. Puppies make everything better, having a bad day? Play with a puppy! Dogs are man's best friend, they give us their love no matter what.
Dogs are just like us when it comes to getting sick, they tend to be like babies, there are many things that can actually harm them and we don't even realize it. So here are some signs that your puppy is craving for some medical care:

1. Your dog has bad breath

Dog's breath never smell like flowers, but sometimes the stink is a signal for some health issue. Bad dog breath is caused by the bacteria that form plaque on your pet’s teeth (almost like humans), but sometimes those bacteria can travel into the nassal passages and sinuses, leading to respiratory diseases or problems. Bacteria can also make into the blood stream, the could actually affect the liver, kidneys or heart severely.

As you brush your teeth daily, you must brush your dog’s teeth daily. It helps if you also give him treats or toys made especially for dental hygiene, they'll help cleaning your pup's teeth and it'll definitely make him happy.

2. Your puppy's ears are droop

Droopy ears are a sign that your dog feels sad or he has an ear infection. They can develop 3 types of ear infections: outer, middle, and inner. Symptoms of outer ear problems includes: drooping ears, redness, discharge, and a bad odor, you must take your dog to the vet. If you don't treat the outer infections, they can turn into middle and inner ear infections, it could lead to a progressive hearing loss.

3. Black patches on your dog's gums

Dogs can get gums diseases too, they develop exactly the same way as human develop gingivitis. When food, dental plaque and bacteria aren’t cleaned off your dog’s gums, they get inflamed. Plaque can turn into gingivitis and once again just like in human teeth, in severe cases, tooth loss. If your dog's normally pink gums get inflamed or develop black patches, have a trip to the vet.

4. Your dog has no waist

If your dog has an hourglass figure, it's okay, that's an indicator of health. But if your dog has no middle area between her rib cage and hips, you dog is probably overweight. Like humans, this makes animals vulnerable to medical complications, like cancer, diabetes, and kidney disease.

5. Cloudy eyes

Cloudy eyes (usually called "blue eyes" too) are an indicator of cataracts. If the cloudiness covers more than half of the eye lens, he could eventually go blind. Cataracts sometimes can be a sign of diabetes, if your puppy shows other symptoms like drinking and urinating more, you must take this seriously and have a trip to the vet. Let's not forget cataracts are a sign of aging too.

6. Your go's bladder is "out of order"!

It's doesn't matter if your dog is house-trained, when they suddenly starts having accidents inside, it's a sign of alert. If your dog starts urinating more than usual (excessive urniationg is called polyuria) and starts being thirsty more than usual (excessive water drinking is called polydipsia) it might be kidney failure, diabetes, or liver diseases. Also, if your pet is dehydrated, its kidneys won’t be able to retain water, so he/she’ll urinate more frequently.

7. Your dog keeps chasing his tail!

If he runs in circles more often than normal, he could have a deep ear infection called labyrinthitis. It affects posture, balance and even coordination, so he may look dizzy. If your dog is older, he could have "idiopathic vestibular syndrome", this disease usually appears suddenly and can cause dizziness to the point of not leading him walk normally (incapacitation).

8. Your dog is heavy breathing

Quick breathing or panting is a dog’s way of cooling down, but heavy breathing (this is called dyspnea),it can be life-threatening. It can be caused by complications in the nose, throat, lungs, or your dog's chest. He may not be getting enough oxygen in his bloodstream. This is also a symptom of heartworm disease luckily, the disease is treatable if detected early.

9. Weird doggie sneezes

Pets sneeze clear nasal even when they have allergies, just like humans. But pay attention if the mucus is gray and cloudy, thick and green, or bloody. Your pet could have a fungal infection or the worst disease of all: nasal cancer. You must take him to the vet to clear things up.

10. My dog is more aggresive than usual!

We all have bad mood days, but is your dog having them too frequently? He’s snarling and growling, even at people he knows? Suddenly aggression could be a sign of hypothyroidism, seizures, or brain diseases. He may also be in severe pain, he's being aggressive to keep people from touching him.Even if a trip to the vet makes him more angry, don't hesitate and go.

If you're interested in pets subject and specially in dog health symptoms, I'll leave a link to a website (the one I consult everytime my dog is being weird) so you can read a little bit more and of course, clear your head up about some changes in your dog's habits or health.

downvoted for plagiarism.

even if you're quoting the source, direct copy-and-pasting of an entire post isn't acceptable here.

But i didn't copy and paste just like that, there's content i modified to make it eassier to understand...

You guys did even notice it? I'm even quoting the main article source, this is even funny.

Thanks a lot i guess.

Noted. Downvote REMOVED.

Easy to not notice, given content length about the same, similar format minus the numbered points, and “source” quotes everywhere. (And that comment from the cheetah bot could be easily taken as another indicator it was plagerised.)

To clarify for future posts, might be good to start with original commentary stating how the original has been amended and why it’s not a direct copy, as surely others might get the same impression without such...

I'll be more careful to make it more notable in future posts, thanks for the advice! I appreciate it, it's all about being better everyday.

It won't happen again and she will make sure to follow your advice as to her posts not be taken as misdirection or with dubious intent. Thanks for removing the flag mate.

No problem. They’re to be used responsibly & fairly, so a removal for valid reason is just as reasonable as casting for abuses.

I can vouch for Vanessa man, I know first hand she is not a plagiarist and she consulted the cited article to make her post but wrote it in her own accord. We already disscused this and yeah she copied some parts but never intended to commit plagiarism. Cheers

Noted, in addition to comment above. Thanks.
