Tyson Chandler, The Answer for the struggling LAKERS!

One of the obvious problems that the Los Angeles Lakers and is visible every game both in wins and losses is the backup center position. Immediately after the Phoenix waved Chandler’s contract, the Lakers signs him and expected to make an impact especially to a struggling Lakers in a loaded western conference.

Tyson Chandler is the missing link in the purple and gold, although he is not an all-star caliber player that he used to be which contributed a championship title to the Dallas Mavericks almost a decade ago. At age 36 the veteran center is a former defensive player of the year is still productive at tanking the defense of the post up dominant big men and good penetration guys in the league. Chandler’s debut in Lakers uniform resulted in a win which is a great news for the team, he instantly made an impact when its only his first game with everyone on the club.




While it is sure a good move for the Lakers it is still not enough to challenge the ultimate juggernaut in the same conference which is the Golden State Warriors who is heading to their potential three-peat this season after adding arguably the best center today if healthy in Demarcus Cousins.
