We humans always tends to think the what if moments in our life right? We often wonder what are the results or the future would be if we did the right thing in those very moments in the past. And it is the same thing in the sports, one move could make a history changing events ofcourse it will have domino effects in others as well. Remember the Michael Jordan that didn't go as the number one overall pick or even as second right? Well that's not we're going to discuss about maybe on another article, what we're about talk is what if David Stern, the NBA commisioner back then didn't vetoed the Chris Paul trade?

One look at this image says a lot of things that could change the history, just like i mentioned earlier it could do a domino effect which is a series change of events in layman's term. CP3 for sure is the best assets among the players in the vetoed trade but it's not like a one sided deal that only favors on one team it is fair exchange if I might assess it.

It is one of worst move that David Stern made in his entire life, that got many felt skeptical because of Stern's statement that is was only a basketball decision that led him to vetoed the trade. As many questioned that Stern shouldn't the one who made the decision instead the interim Chairman Jac Sperling should be which he also appointed prior to the deal.

Kobe and Lebron in the Finals?

Imagine if the CP3 trade went through we might be witnessing a Lebron & Kobe head to head in the finals stage, which is one of the most frustrating that didn't happen in the recent memories. Imagine two of the best players in the 2000s didn't met even once in the finals, Chris Paul is the necessary piece not only in Lakers as a team but to Kobe. Kobe never even once in his lifetime to have a brilliant passer, well although you can argue a retiring Steve Nash which can't even play 50% of his prime. Lakers with Kobe and Paul alongside a healthy Bynum in the west would be pretty amazing and arguably can dominate the western conference and a trip to the finals in that year. Maybe Kobe won two more championships alongside the Point God Paul.

Harden is still in OKC

Harden trade to Rockets in 2012 might not happen because they have not enough assets to get him, which Kevin Martin is one of the key personnel in that Houston-Oklahoma trade. Maybe the Thunders could win multiple championships considering how extremely talented the trio of Westbrook, Harden and Durant which all got an MVP honor in their resume right now. Maybe we are having an OKC dynasty instead of Golden State Warriors or maybe they will have a rivalry in the west, Durant will not get scrutinized right now of jump shipping as a bandwagon.

Kobe wouldn't break in 2013

We all know the story why Kobe got hurt in 2013 is that because they are on the verge of not making the Playoffs that year with the addition of softy Dwight and an aging Steve Nash. A 33 year old Kobe carrying the team to make the playoff cut got betrayed by his own body because over exerting all his powers and might. If CP3 is on the Lakers roster then he will not be the primary ball handler and can focused more on scoring than facilitating the basket. Maybe Kobe might won another MVP which he deserves and more valuable than just a single MVP honor.

No Anthony Davis in New Orleans?

Maybe "The Brow" isn't on New Orleans? why because they have Odom, Scola, Dragic and Kevin Martin which could translate to more wins and certainly wouldn't get the number one overall. Anthony Davis might be carrying other team right now, maybe as a Bobcats or Wizards as they are the second and third pick in that 2012 NBA draft. A.D. with John Wall would be the Lob City instead of Clippers, cause there is no Lob City without CP3 right?

Toronto Might Be A Lottery Team

Toronto might sign Nash instead of Kyle Lowry now where might Kyle Lowry go. If Toronto is a lottery team they might get some good players in the draft like Porzingis or in 2013 maybe get the Greek Freak? Well there's really a lot of things that might happen, one move could change the history and translate to multiple title run or even rings and one wrong decision could make you a funny team or even firing of staffs and coaches as well. We can't know for sure what would really happen but one thing is for sure our decision could change our future.
