If you understand how to Monetize a simple Blog you would know that Steemit.com is the quintessential Goose that Laid the Golden Egg.
@ned..... just add one line of Adsense script so "Smart" Content related Ads appear on every Blogpost... Use the old fashioned Fiat Cash to run the Servers and the Nodes.

You're right, I've been here as long as you and I'm still using steemit.com instead of any or all of the other interfaces. Which are better, but I just keep coming back to what I know, steemit.
Well, we'll see when @ned gives you that upvote. But you're not the only one suggesting this. And it would work, too! Steemit Inc could make a killing off of banner ads.

Is Steemit actually in jeopardy of shutting down? Or did Ned get over excited about the high prices and over extend their efforts. I think the layoffs were important to maintaining a lean crew that will take Steemit to the next level. Thoughts?
Maybe.... it looks like there are a lot of other places you can post to and still have your Steem wallet so maybe we don’t need Steemit.com anymore. @ned will let it die ... I will probably just post on Steempeak.com and busy.org
