in #needleworkmonday5 years ago

Hello everybody,

I am making another wrist bag, for the red one I made is now dirty and need to be wash.

Hmm, I realized I must have two or more wrist bag for I use it daily.

This time it's color gray.

here is the pattern:

I use tiny cord for the bag base because it's durable can be wash with washing machine and 3mm hook.

Round 1 to 12 is work all in single crochet(SC) continously and tension must be a little tighter, not loose because your work will be wavy.

R1: CH 2 then 7SC in a ring, pull to close the center, weave ends. (7SC)

R2: 2SC in each 7SC. (14SC)

R3: 1SC, 2SC in each stitch all around. (21SC)

R4: 1SC, 1SC, 2SC all around. (28SC)

R5: 1SC, 1SC, 1SC, 2 SC all around. (35SC)

on this round you will notice your work is not a circle, but just go on Round 6 will do the magic.

R6: 1SC, 1SC, 2SC, 1SC, 1SC all around. (42SC)

yeah! on this Round you have the perfect circle...

R7: 1SC in each 5SC, 2SC in next stitch, repeat all around. (49SC)

R8: 1SC in each 3SC, 2SC in next stitch, 1SC in each 3SC repeat all around. (56SC)

R9: 1SC in each 7 SC, 2SC in next stitch, repeat all around. (63SC)

R10: 1SC in each 4SC, 2SC in next stitch, 1SC in each 4stitch repeat all around. (70SC)

R11: 1SC in each 9 SC, 2 SC in next, repeat all around. (77SC)

R12: 1SC in each 5SC, 2SC in next, 1SC in each 5SC repeat all around, slip stich, cut longer and weave ends. (84SC)

DONE!

Great explanation. I have to admit my circles are rarely flat. Often I crochet a bit too tight and it's more a dome and not flat. As I crochet scrubbies most of the time where two circles are crocheted together it doesn't matter so much ;)

And your post goes great together with mine - though there it's half double crochets :)

Thanks @muscara that' s my problem before...I started with 6 SC in a ring result was a domed, so, I tried 7SC, then, Rose Buen, a member of our crochet local group suggested that on R6, I must distribute the 2SC at the center, I tried right away it is perfect flat circle...this round does the magic.
