We are always entertained by @neumannsalva’s productions. She makes us laugh, think and brings up numerous subjects that are very relatable. In this post she talks about her knitting being outdated due to finishing projects off season.
As I was reading her post I was thinking about how styles get refashioned and upcycled over and over again...so do any of our styles really get outdated? How about giving her article a read and you decide ;) You’ll also get a sneak peek at the beautiful sweater she is currently knitting.

Yay for Monday’s! @pandicornio embroidered this beautiful Monday piece to represents the Monday’s we share in needle art together! This is such a lovely piece, especially considering she does not have a lot of experience with this technique. You sure wouldn’t know that if she didn’t mention it. The needlework community loves upcycling and reducing waste. Have you ever heard of using salvage to do so? @cryptocariad shares with us how she is making her own fabric from salvage to make use of it again. This is such a lovely idea and I can imagine others trying out this method. Have a look!

Sometimes even the simplest things are hardest to achieve. I’m sure many of us needlers have had some dome shaped circles when we were aiming for flat ones. @jurich60 has the solution to crocheting perfectly flat circles. Thank you for sharing this method because it will be a help to many!
