Kids in Nepal Valley Walk
Whilst trekking in Nepal we often came across children playing in the villages. Some seemed completely bemused by being photographed and some, like the little boy in this one, relished it.
When this photo was taken I didn't have a digital camera or smartphone but I was able to still get prints of the photos to the kids via our guide. Apparently they were delighted and stuck them on the walls of their home!

I love the fact that a smile costs nothing and when you are a kid, you don't even know you are poor.
These kids are absolutely pure and beautiful! Isn't it so refreshing to see?

It's fun watching my grandson take delight in such little things. At the weekend he was totally fascinated by the door handle. My son was holding him high enough to open and close a door.
The little one was so totally enrapt and delighted by being able to open and close the door. It's a shame we loose that as we age.
