"IMAGINE LIFE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY "

Imagine life without electricity, not just a brief power outage. We all know how inconvenient life becomes when our electricity is out for only a few hours. How hard it is to remember for that short period of time that the light switch will not produce instant light, the hair dryer will not immediately blow dry our hair, or that we can't even run water into our homes. Our homes and lives have become so dependent on electricity it is really hard to imagine everything that would change without it.
With the passage of time Electricity has become the basic necessity of our lives. Most of the people are in favor of the opinion that along with water, air and food; electricity is also one of the components extremely necessary to survive. A lot of people I know say that they would shoot themselves or rather die than to live without it and it makes me speechless that so many people rely so greatly on electricity.
If you try and look at it with a different prospective, that is, in a more open minded way, you will see that it wont be like the end of the world. It would be more like living in a world that existed a few hundred years ago. And trust me people didn’t die coz of no electricity. It’s just a matter of compromising with the situation, which our century people find very hard to do. I agree that .It would create a lot of difficulties, but nothing that is insurmountable.
Amongst many of the changes that would occur one important one is related to Transport. Transport would be steam-driven, animal-driven or human-powered. You'd have a bicycle, a horse-drawn carriage or you'd just walk everywhere you went, and trust me the problem of obesity, that has become such a common problem will no longer exist. Similarly with more walking and peddling other medical problems like heart attack, blood pressure, etc will diminish too.
Lighting would be by flames--candles or lanterns, leading to no more hyper tensions and high blood pressures because there will be no more high electricity bills.
No matter if anything else changes or not there is one thing that I am pretty much sure will happen is that" People will have a much more interesting social life". The reasons for which is that people would communicate via the mails, or go visiting. Visiting was a very popular form of entertainment in the 1800s, and there were many social protocols--people dressed formally to do it, they made an appointment to visit, they left calling cards in a basket at the front door, and they had a special sitting room that was only used for visiting. Also to entertain our self by playing games, we'll be playing with other people rather than sitting alone on our computers to do so.
Neighbors would not only be for visiting and entertainment; they would also be one of the main sources of news and weather. Infect Neighbors would also be relied to help on various occasions, like in olden days people used to help outon butchering days. Because of the lack of refrigeration when cool weather would arrive each family would have a "butchering day". Neighbors would gather at an individual's home and help out with the daylong task of killing and processing a beef and hog. The meat would then be hung in the smokehouse for curing
If we wanted to see a play, we would go to a theatre. If you wanted to hear music, would go to a concert on the town square, have someone in the family who could play, or knew how to play ourselves. In olden days a lot of people had pianos or harpsichords, and for the non-rich there were guitars, banjos, fiddles, harmonicas and mandolins.
Homes will be built lower in valleys instead of hilltops also because of heating and cooling. Remember, there would be no air conditioners or fans to create the perfect breeze on a hot summer day. Also, during the winter the valley would provide a much-needed reprieve from the strong winter winds.
I'm sure trying to imagine life without electricity is as difficult for us as would have been for our great-great grandparents to imagine life with electricity. Try to imagine how technology will change our lives in the next fifty years. I wonder if the change will be as significant and life changing as the invention of electricity.
