ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER LAMB... MEET "SNOWFLAKE!"

in #new5 years ago

Interesting, we are getting a number of white ewes this year.

This was the third successful lamb birth on our homestead this year. So far, they are all ewes too. Last year we had seven ewe lambs and two rams born, and this year we have three ewes so far. Here's some photos of the first two, Winter and Breezy,

Today, we've already had one, a new little white ewe named "Snowflake." We think there maybe a couple more coming really soon, but we'll have to wait and see. With baby animals, you never know what you're going to get, and it's always an exciting mystery to see what'll come out next.

WELCOME TO THE HOMESTEAD "SNOWFLAKE!"

Until next time…

Snowflake and Winter are so adorable.
Wish I could have lambs, they are so cute.
Maybe one day, but for now, just the chickens.

Chickens can be cute too!

I recently got to hold a new born lamb out at the farm where I do horse therapy. They are so cuddly and cute!
@bitsy :)

Very cool! Glad to hear it! WE sure do love them!

How often do you get singles instead of twins? They are so fluffy and sweet!

Wished I lived closer, I'd bring the girls over for the day, but you might be missing a baby lamb when we left!MrEasyFix_bottom_thank_you.gif

Wow they are coming fast & furious ...

I have also recently had a couple lambs born. Ironically, the one ewe we've gotten so far we named Winter. I have one more ewe due to lamb but not sure when she'll go. She's a first freshener so she's not as obvious as the other two who have had babies before.
