Steemit Basic Income Giveaway (The Answer)
Lots of groundbreaking innovations that were suggested in Last week's question about technology and inventions. Mostly centered around printing/writing/internet (passing on of knowledge) or agriculture (food production). I guess these are the basic foundations that allowed our modern population centres to grow and take root.
This week, I've been travelling a lot, some of it in a bit more of a hurry than I would prefer... but that's the way things are! It means that my brain is a little bit hazy due to jet-lag and the lack of sleep that that a full touring schedule imposes upon us.
So, this week's question is about an answer or two....
My Question
I was thinking about questions and how I have so many of them... most of which probably will never be answered definitively... at least within my own lifetime! Which got me to thinking, is there a question or two that I would that I would most definitely want a absolutely truthful answer to?
So there are two questions for this week. If you were guaranteed (by a genie or a fairy) to get an absoultely truthful answer to a question:
- Is there a question (that could be about anything at all) that you would love dearly to know the answer to? What is it?
- Is there a question that you would ask another person? What would it be?
My sample answer
My answer for the first question would be the question:
Is it possible to have faster than light speed interstellar travel?
For the survival of the human race, it would be absolutely essential in the long term for us to be able to get off this planet, and then in the future... off this solar system. It is interesting (for me, at least!) to know if this is at all possible or if we are forever doomed to be swallowed up by the Sun in a far off future!
The answer for the second question for me, would be the question:
Are you real?
Surely, it has crossed everyone's mind... why am I looking out of these eyes? Does everyone else have the same experience? Being able to know if another person is definitely real or not, would help down that line of questioning!

Steem Basic Income
One of the first communities that I came in contact with at the beginning of my time at Steemit was @steembasicincome. As a author starting out on your fresh new Steemit account, Steemit can be a daunting and lonely place to be. OFten, it can feel like you are posting into an abyss with no one listening and with no ability to grow out of the situation. A share of Steem Basic Income gives you a guaranteed vote on one post a day, thus giving you a small but over time cumulative support to your account to help grow you out of your initial wilderness!
With this post, I want to help sponsor people who might not even have the spare 1 STEEM that is required for registration. So, when this post pays out, I will sponsor people depending on the payout of this post. Basically, I will round up the SBD payout from this post and then that will be the number of people I will sponsor. (So, if the payout is 2.3 SBD, I will sponsor 3 people). OF course, this is not simply an altruistic move, as the sponsor of a Steem Basic Income share also gets a share, so it is a great way to help others whilst helping yourself!

That would be an interesting question to ask, to know who (if indeed there was a who!) created the world, and by extension, I guess you mean the universe! Every faith has a different claim, and if you are like me, then the question itself is under question, as I do not think that there is a need for a Creator of any type!
As for your second question... hmmm, tricky... I'm not sure I'd always want to know truthfully what someone else thought of me... if it was good, then that would be okay... but otherwise!

Q. I want to know how do we exist?
I don't believe in religion or gods plan so what i really want to know is how all of this could happen. People, animals, life, technology..... Everything that we can do and cannot do. Obviously science can take us so far but it will never be able to tell me how i came from whatever big bang moment created life to sitting here on a couch making a post on a computer that can be seen in every corner of the world in an instant..... It makes no sense to me and i would like to know how???
Q. What do you really think of me?
Not a single person but there are a few people who i would like to know how they really think about me, good and bad. It would be nice to have the truth and not just lies and the usual stuff.
So you subscribe to the theory of evolution? Or are you talking about why the universe exists which ends up leading to you at the computer?
Hmmm'm... To know exactly what other people thought, I think it would be a dangerous thing, it would be nice to have the truth, but sometimes it is a difficult thing to know...
Obviously there has been an evolution of our species. The science is there to prove it. What I can't comprehend is how we ended up here, now.......
So many different species and all so complex and varied. How humans can do what they do? It's a mystery to me.
Absolutely dangerous and maybe not a good thing but the curiosity is always there. I know how many truths I need to hide every day. Even just small things like when dealing with customers at work and being nice to them. You would need to have a tough she'll as I'm sure you would not be happy with a lot of what you might hear. The opinion we have of ourselves doesn't always match what the rest of the world might think.

Thanks for doing these. They are fun and at the same time pretty easy to take part in. So here it goes.
I would like to know if magic was ever real in this world. Our history is full of stories of people or beings that had powers. That could do things we could only dream of. So are all those stores fake?
I would ask people or a person why do they let other people tell them what they need.
I love your second question. I can't lie I have had that thought. Like I see the rest of the stuff going on all over the world that I can't see can't really confirm. Is it all real? has to be right? Right?

Yes, why do people like to be led? I guess sometimes it is just easier to be told what to do, rather than trying to discover what it is that you really want? Who knows? Or maybe it is more a submissive role thing?

First, I thought of a whole lot of questions I don't want to ask - like life events in the future - good and bad, or stuff like if there is a God. All of that is better left to the mysteries life is made up from. So, the question I want to ask (maybe besides the lottery question 🤪) is - are there Aliens among us?
Asking another person. Hmm. Again. Not sure. Are the answers going to be an absolute truth answer or what they think they are going to do? Maybe if I can rely on them when they say yes to something... Or if it is a business manner - how trustworthy they really are...
Haha... the lottery question would have been the one... but to know if there are aliens amongst us, that would be absolutely mind-blowing if there were... and somewhat disappointing if there wasn't!
I think someone also mentioned asking if they could trust someone! I think given that people are fickle and changeable, the answer that they give might be truthful for the moment, but might be different an hour later!
But if we all asked the lottery question and all won - the winning would be so small :) Another thing to be better left to the mysteries of life...

1- Are there other realms of existence, ie. other dimensions or universes where there are living beings, unimaginable to us?
2- I would like to know what their question would be, for the above point. It would be a nice way to get to know someone.
Different realms of existence! Wow, that would again be another mind blowing piece of knowledge if it were true... and a bit disappointing if it were not!
Wow, top answer for the second question! I am finding that I do learn about people in the way they answer the first question... what is that they are curious about and what seems to be important to them!

My questions
Why does deja-vu happen?... (ha ha)... I heard an idea that it was due to the fact that our conscious mind is lagging behind the real world. We already know that the reflexive side of the brain is much faster than the thinking part. This is the explanation that seemed to be most in tune with what I understand, but there are many other ideas as well!
You also see doppelgangers! I only catch them out the corner of my eye... People that look so familiar... or somehow similar to people I know, but that are not actually that person! I guess you could ask them, if you could ever catch one without looking like a crazy nut!

Wow, that would also be on my list of questions as well! Is there any other intelligent life in the universe... are we an accident, or is it just normal evolution of the Universe to come up with intelligent life? Or do we all miss each other in time...
Would you go out of your way to try and fulfill that dream? Sometimes, what we think we want isn't actually what we want when we get there... on the other hand, sometimes it is exactly what we wanted!

What world/reality do we inhabit? It would be useful to know that, and if there are other ways of experiencing the universe... or if there is only just the one!
Are we in touch with our spiritual self? I'm guessing that most people aren't, even if they are professing it on the outside!

AAAAARRRRGGGGG! I think @dreemsteem set you up to ask that....
I think whales come either through early adoption of the platform or by investing a huge amount of fiat or other crypto.... either that or a big big stork...
Hahahahaha not initially! Although we have discussed about it in a lot of times but we do not have any concrete answers..
but i always wonder, hahaha how to be a whale (i know too ambitious haha im even having a hard time getting minnowship how much more for whalehood!a)...or how they have become one.. i dont see much of them do.. they are pretty hard to catch up active here.. not all..
