Yahoo! Meseenger is shuting down!

After 20 years of service Yahoo announced that Yahoo Messenger will be closed. People have until 17 July to use the Messenger before being shut down. Also Yahoo will let users download their Chat History until November.

Yahoo said they are experimenting new apps but there's none that could replace Yahoo so far. They've launched an invite-only group app called Yahoo Squirrel. The shut down of Yahoo Messenger will not affect other Yahoo services, like mail.
