Syrian Air Force launches retaliatory airstrikes over Idlib

BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:40 P.M.) - The Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) launched several retaliatory airstrikes over the Idlib Governorate, today, targeting several areas controlled by Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham and their allies.

According to a military report, the Syrian Air Force launched several airstrikes over Binnish, Taftanaz, and a number of other towns located near the provincial capital of the Idlib Governorate.

These SyAAF airstrikes in Idlib were conducted in retaliation for the jihadist assault on the two besieged government towns of Al-Fou'aa and Kafraya.

While the jihadist attack ultimately failed, the Syrian Air Force was given the green light from their Russian allies to respond to this latest ceasefire violation.
