Syrian Army scores first advance in northern Hama after fierce battle

According to a military source in the Hama Governorate, the Syrian Army captured the town of Arbaeen after launching two consecutive attacks on Jaysh Al-Izza's defenses. The source said the first attack was repelled by the militant forces; however, on the second attempt, they were able to overrun Jaysh Al-Izza's positions en route to seizing Arbaeen. Israeli warplane spotted over southern Lebanon, moving towards Syrian border

According to local reports, the Israeli warplane was traveling from the Nabatieh Governorate towards the Syrian border. While it is not unusual for Israeli warplanes to enter Lebanese airspace or approach the Syrian border, the timing of the flight has raised suspicions of a potential attack. Syrian Army begins first push to capture strategic town in northern Hama

Backed by heavy artillery, the Syrian Arab Army's Tiger Forces, alongside the National Defense Forces (Mhardeh and Sqaylabiyeh units), launched a heavy assault to capture both Zakah and Arbaeen. Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army began their attack by firing a large barrage of missiles and artillery shells towards the two towns of Zakah and Arbaeen near the Jaysh Al-Izza strongholds of Al-Latamnah and Kafr Zita.
