World XI (CB)
Undeniably the best CB in the world and a well-deserved place on this list, number one of the two CB's for the World XI goes to Sergio Ramos.
The Spanish captain for Los Blancos displays insane pressure at the very backbone of Real Madrid's defence and helps to guide and orchestrate other members of his defence. Ramos is also renowned for his incredible headers, some of which have come in the 90+ time zone saving Real Madrid. Definitely a 100% deserved position in the World XI list. Sergio Ramos will also captain the World XI.
Honourable mentions:
- Gerad Pique was a very strong contender for this position, however, lacked the leadership Ramos has. Although Pique as a world-class defender has to have a certain degree of pressure Ramos took it to a whole new level.
