Crypto News Flash #210: Coinbase Is Exploring The Listing Of Cardano, Stellar Lumens, Basic Attention Token, ZCash & 0x
Well, Coinbase is among the top cryptocurrency platforms in the World and especially the fiat-to-crypto trading platform which adds a great significance to its existence. Coinbase generates significant trading volume in the market but only have fewer coins available for trade including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.
A few days back, Coinbase announced that they will list Ethereum Classic (ETC) in next 2-3 months and this news of ETC listing pushed its price by 20% in a day. Of course, this type of feedback was expected as Coinbase is a prestigious crypto exchange.
Now, Coinbase tweeted few minutes back that it is exploring the addition of 5 new Alt coins in coming future including Basic Attention Token (BAT), ZCash (ZEC), Stellar Lumens (XLM), Cardano (ADA) and 0X (ZRX).
In a recent blog, Coinbase officially announced that they will likely to add new tokens in near future but what tokens they had in mind, they never revealed until today.
Following this tweet, prices of all these 3 coins have spiked instantly. Each of these Alt coins are up by 15-25%
Well, these things do happen in crypto market.
Coinbase also posted this statement:
“Unlike the ongoing process of adding Ethereum Classic, which is technically very similar to Ethereum, these assets will require additional exploratory work and we cannot guarantee they will be listed for trading.”
So, if you're planning to buy these coins, then I would suggest you not to FOMO in and wait before you make any entry in these coins as they have already spiked significantly.
